ConPact Add to Chrome

Know what you're agreeing to.

ConPact reads Terms of Service and Privacy Policies for you, flags what could actually affect you, and shows the exact quote behind every finding. In plain English, in seconds.

10 free credits every month. No account, no payment. Version 1.0.0, first public release.

Read less. Understand more.

Nobody reads the fine print, so ConPact does it for you and keeps itself honest.

Finds the fine print

On any site, ConPact locates the Terms, Privacy and Cookie policies, including the sub-policies buried inside them.

Says what's actually in it

Specific data types, named parties and real numbers instead of vague boilerplate, with a 0 to 10 risk score.

Shows its proof

Every finding quotes the original text. Click a quote and ConPact scrolls to that line and highlights it on the page.

Free, with no catch

ConPact has no accounts, no paid plans and no ads. Here is how the free tier works.

10 free credits a month

  • A new summary costs 1 credit
  • Anything someone has already scanned is free for everyone
  • Credits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC)
  • Credits are refunded if a request fails

Your privacy

  • No account, email or browsing history
  • Only the legal text you ask to summarize is sent for analysis
  • Want no limits? Add your own API key in settings
  • Read the privacy policy

Questions

Is ConPact really free?

Yes. There are no plans, prices, payment methods or ads. You get 10 credits every month, and sites that other people have already scanned cost nothing.

How do credits work?

A new summary costs 1 credit. Anything already scanned is served from the shared cache for free. Credits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and are refunded if a request fails.

What happens when I run out?

You still get instant results for anything already scanned. For new documents you can wait for the monthly reset or add your own API key in ConPact's settings.

What does ConPact store about me?

No account, no email and no browsing history. Your install has a random ID used only to count credits. Standard summaries are cached by a fingerprint of the document text so they can be reused.

Can I use ConPact with my own API key?

Yes. Add an OpenAI or Anthropic key in settings and use it without any limits from us.
